Anssi Lehtivuori has started with drumming when he was young and he finally never stopped with it. He likes all kind of music from Jazz to rock.

He went to Amsterdam to study music. He joined the famous Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. He choose for Jazz. He succeeded Cum Laude and got his master drum degree. He has played in a lot of different jazz and pop bands. Also played in television productions and musical Jeans throughout Holland and as drummer joined the pop band of the well know Dutch singer Hind.  After years spending in Amsterdam Anssi returned to Finland where he lives and works. Plays next to this Walter Rootsie and his Blue Connection Band in different bands vary from (hard)rock , jazz to roots music.   He played already for years with Walter for fun in Holland before he moved back to Finland. He joined in beginning of 2004 the band Walter Rootsie and the Backboners and continued in the band Walter Rootsie and his Blue Connection.
